BOCHU (often written BOCI) fiber laser cutting heads are used on many fiber laser cutting machines worldwide. Like every cutting head, they need the beam to be centered in the nozzle for symmetric gas flow and consistent cut quality — especially after a lens change or a nozzle collision.
With the matching adapter, the Raytech unit mounts onto the nozzle of the BOCHU head and plugs into an Android phone. Switch on the head’s red pilot light — the app shows it as a red dot on a target. Turn the head’s centering screws and the dot moves on the screen in real time; the app notifies you when it reaches the center.
